BCN Telecom was envisioned in 1994 when Richard M. Boudria founded International Telephone Group (ITG) as a reseller of telephone service through Tier 1 carriers. Boudria was committed to bringing quality telephone service to preferred business and residential customers tiring of flavor-of-the-month service providers.

ITG briefly partnered with energy-affiliated NUI Corporation, during which time the company continued its growth strategy through accretive acquisitions of Telcorp, Norcom, NAS and other communications providers.

In December 2003, Boudria and a small group of strategic investors re-acquired the company from NUI Corporation and formed BCN Telecom.

Today BCN Telecom is a thriving privately held corporation with headquarters in New Jersey, operations center in Florida and fully staffed offices in New York and Montana.
